Yeni sezonun ilk maçında Everton'a Fellaini'nin golü ile 1-0 yenilen Man U. da yeni transfer Van Persie 2. yarı sonradan oyuna girmişti ama maçta etkili olamamıştı. Bu sezonda etkili olmak isteyen Ferguson kendi sahalarındaki ilk maçta Van Persie yi ilk 11 de oynatacaktır.
Geçen hafta kendi sahasında 5-0 lik galibiyet alan Fulham ise bu maçta da gol de bulacaktır, her ne kadar deplasmanlarda zorlansa da.
Sonuç olarak Rooney - Van Persie ikilisi ile başlayacağını umduğum ManU maçı üste taşır.

Despite they lost first game of the season to Everton 0-1 on Monday, I don't expect from Manchester to get too emotional about that. They were simply outplayed, and IMHO Ferguson made mistake he didn't tryed to utilize Fellaini in the second half as he was difference maker in the first 45 minutes. That costed him early goal in the second half and after that it was hard for United. Now at home they will play against Fulham, side that won 5-0 first game of the season. Fulham is pretty much home team, and their performances away from home are not that good over the years, but I have no doubts they can score goal or two to this injury riddeled United defese. One the other hand, Red Devils up front will be very dangerous wit Van Persie and Rooney both starting. Probable score 3-1 for United here.
